MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — The Miami University baseball team dropped a 14-0 decision at Central Michigan University on Friday afternoon in Mount Pleasant, Mich. The RedHawks fall to 19-16 (12-9 Mid-American Conference) on the season, while CMU improves to 25-11 (17-4 MAC).
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The RedHawks fell behind 2-0 over the first three innings before surrendering a 10-run fourth inning.
- Eventually, the Chippewas extended their lead to 14 in the bottom of the fifth by scoring two runs to give the hosts the win.
WHAT'S NEXT:
The RedHawks will face off against the Central Michigan Chippewas on Saturday, May 1 in a doubleheader. The first pitch for game one will be 1 p.m. at Keilitz Field in Mount Pleasant.
