LOUISVILLE, Ky.—The Miami University softball team split a pair of games on Sunday afternoon. The RedHawks (7-6) seized a 4-0 win at Louisville (6-7) in the second game of the day after being clipped 5-4 by DePaul (6-6) in a neutral-site game at Louisville.

- DePaul opened up a 5-0 lead, scoring two runs in the first and third innings and another run in the fourth inning.
- A two-run double by senior Jada Dotson in the fourth inning, plated sophomore Kate Kobayashi and junior Adriana Barlow for Miami's first runs of the game.
- Miami pulled within one, 5-4, when Kobayashi tripled to right center to score junior Allie Cummins and senior Mackenzie Moore, but that was as close as the RedHawks would get.
- Dotson went 2-for-3 at the plate for the RedHawks with two RBI, while Moore was 2-for-4 with a run.
GAME TWO: Miami 4, Louisville 0

- Miami got on the board quickly. With two on in the top of the first, Barlow stepped to the plate and blasted a three-run home run to left field, scoring Cummins and freshman Karlee Juarez.
- The RedHawks tacked on another run in the top of the sixth when Barlow doubled to left center, which scored Cummins, who led off the inning with a double to right center.
- Barlow led Miami at the plate, going 2-for-3 with 4 RBI.
- Senior Courtney Vierstra picked up the win in the circle for the RedHawks, moving to 4-2 on the season. She pitched 7.0 innings and gave up just four hits while striking out 12 Cardinal batters and walking just one.
