Three RedHawks Earn NFCA All-Region Honors

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced the 2026 Division I All-Region Teams (Great Lakes Region) on Thursday afternoon, with three players from the Miami University softball team earning recognition for their standout seasons.
First Team All-Region – Bailey Manos (Outfielder)
Senior Bailey Manos earned First Team All-Region honors after putting together one of the most impressive offensive seasons in program history. Manos posted a .427 batting average with 73 hits in 171 at-bats, adding 12 doubles, 15 home runs, and 55 RBI. Nationally, she ranked among the top hitters in the country in batting average, slugging percentage (.795), and in RBI. Her season will also place her in both the Miami and Mid-American Conference record books in categories including batting average, RBI, and hits.
Second Team All-Region – Presley Hosick (Pitcher)
Senior pitcher Presley Hosick was named to the Second Team after a dominant year in the circle. Hosick threw 165.2 innings with a 2.62 ERA and collected 19 wins, tying her for 29th nationally. She also ranked among the nation's leaders with 18 complete games and six shutouts, while posting a 1.26 WHIP and 95 strikeouts. Opponents hit just .245 against her this season.
Third Team All-Region – Danitza Hernandez (Shortstop)
Senior shortstop Danitza Hernandez earned Third Team All-Region honors following an exceptional two-way season. Defensively, Hernandez ranked fourth nationally with 153 assists and fifth among Division I shortstops in defensive runs saved. Offensively, she hit .410 with 68 hits, 15 doubles, 12 home runs, and 53 RBI while posting a .741 slugging percentage and .500 on-base percentage. Hernandez was also one of only two RedHawks to start and play in all 56 games this season.
