HOW IT HAPPENED (Game 1 vs WMU)
- The Broncos got on the board 1-0 in the top of the first with an RBI single.
- Miami followed them up in the bottom of the same inning with a sacrifice fly from Katy Olive, tying the contest at 1-1.
- WMU added another in the top of the third with a home run.
- The RedHawks responded in the bottom of the same inning with a home run from Mia Estrello to tie up the game again.
- WMU took the lead 7-2 in the fifth with an RBI double. They scored again off a walk with bases loaded and a sacrifice fly. They then added another walk with bases loaded and an RBI single.
- Leila Mathis homered in the seventh to make it 7-4, but the RedHawks could get no closer.
- Mia Estrello had one home run and one RBI.
- Leila Mathis went 1-for-2 at the plate with one home run and two RBI.
- Bailey Manos went 2-for-4 at the plate with one run.

HOW IT HAPPENED (Game 2 vs CMU)

- The Chippewas took the lead 3-2 in the top of the sixth with a home run.
- The RedHawks tied up the game in the bottom of the same inning with a sacrifice fly from Ella Carter.
- CMU scored four in the top of the seventh to claim a 7-3 advantage, the final tally.
- Evey Dieudonne had one home run and had two RBI.
