FRIDAY AND SATURDAY'S MATCH: The Miami University volleyball team rounds out a three-match home stretch when the RedHawks host Ohio in a Friday/Saturday Battle of the Bricks series. The RedHawks entertain the Bobcats at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 12 and 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 13.
ABOUT OHIO: The Bobcats enter the weekend with a 5-5 record and are coming off a three-set loss at Eastern Michigan on Monday. Lauren Park averages 3.61 kps, Vera Giacomazzi averages 10.24 aps and Sam Steele averages 5.48 dps. Tia Jimerson averages 1.06 bps.
THE SERIES WITH THE BOBCATS: Friday marks the 89th meeting between Miami and Ohio with the RedHawks holding a 52-36 lead in the series. When playing in Oxford, Miami is 28-12 against the Bobcats. Miami captured the last meeting between the teams, a 3-1 win in Millett Hall on Nov. 1, 2019. The Bobcats' last win in the series was in four sets in Athens on Sept. 28, 2019. Miami has won the last six meetings between the teams in Oxford with Ohio's last win in Millett Hall on Oct. 10, 2014, 3-2.

HUSER RECORDS 1,000th CAREER DIG: Senior
Abigail Huser became the 17th member of Miami's 1,000 dig club on Thursday, March 4 at Kent State. Huser needed 13 digs entering the contest and hit the mark early in the third set. She has 1,044 entering Miami's next match. She will be honored for this accomplishment during the Saturday, March 13 match.

Sophie Riemersma have been solid offensive threats for the RedHawks. Each has been in double figures for kills three times over the last five matches with Riemersma averaging 3.47 kps and hitting. 275 and Powell averaging 3.11 kps and hitting .343. Riemersma has twice recorded a season-high 15 kills in the last four matches, while Powell notched a season-high 15 kills last weekend.

- Three times this season, a Miami player has served up four aces in a match. Sophomore Allyson Severance has recorded four service aces twice, versus Buffalo on Jan. 23 and at Northern Illinois on Feb. 25. Senior Morgan Seaman also served up four aces at Akron on Jan. 29.
ECLIPSING 750 CAREER WINS: With a 3-0 win versus Buffalo on Jan. 22, Miami head coach
Carolyn Condit posted her 750th career win. Condit owns a 756-562 career record in her 41st season as a head coach. Condit's 756 total victories are tied for eighth among active NCAA Division I coaches, and tied for 24th all-time. Owning more victories than any coach in the history of the Miami Athletic Department, Condit holds a 657-485 record in her 37th season in charge of the Red and White. Condit is the only volleyball coach in the history of the Mid-American Conference to win over 300 league matches, holding a conference mark of 360-214.
