
NCHC Reveals 2021-22 CBS Sports Network Television Schedule

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – With the 2021-22 campaign already underway, the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) has announced its television schedule on CBS Sports Network for the season. The network once again will serve as the premier national television partner of the NCHC, doing so for the ninth straight year.

CBS Sports Network will televise 11 NCHC games during the second half of the season, including eight regular-season contests on Friday nights and all three games at the 2022 NCHC Frozen Faceoff. All eight NCHC teams will be featured at least once on CBS Sports Network during the regular season, with seven teams being televised in their home arenas.
The NCHC on CBS Sports Network slate begins Friday, Jan. 7 with Denver visiting Omaha at Baxter Arena for an 8:30 p.m. ET/7:30 p.m. CT puck drop. One NCHC game is then set to be televised each Friday night leading up to the Frozen Faceoff, except for on Friday, Jan. 21.
The other January games on CBS Sports Network include St. Cloud State at Denver on Jan. 14 and Omaha at Colorado College on Jan. 28, as the Tigers showcase their new Ed Robson Arena.
February features four NCHC games, starting with Western Michigan at St. Cloud State on Feb. 4, followed by Omaha at Miami a week later. On the next Friday (Feb. 18), rivals collide as North Dakota invades Minnesota Duluth, while the month wraps up with the Fighting Hawks again on CBS Sports Network hosting Western Michigan on Feb. 25.
The regular-season slate on CBS Sports Network then concludes Friday, March 4 with a match-up of the top two teams in the NCHC Preseason Poll as Penrose Cup-favorite St. Cloud State heads north to take on in-state rival Minnesota Duluth.
CBS Sports Network will also televise the entire NCHC Frozen Faceoff live from Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn. Both semifinals will take place on Friday, March 18, while the championship game is set for Saturday, March 19 at 8:30 p.m. ET/7:30 p.m. CT when the NCHC Tournament champion will be crowned.
