The Miami University baseball team heads south for a three-game weekend series at the University of Alabama-Birmingham. Friday's game is at 5 p.m. (EST), while Saturday and Sunday's games are each at 2 p.m. (EST). Friday and Saturday's games will be played in downtown Birmingham at Regions Field. Sunday's game will be at UAB's on campus Young Memorial Field.
ABOUT UAB
The Blazers are 3-5 on the season. Last weekend they dropped two of three to UNC Asheville at home. They then went on the road midweek and defeated Alabama State, 10-5. UAB's top hitter so far in 2020 has been senior outfielder Colton Schultz. He is hitting .313 with one home run and nine RBIs. The Blazers have a 4.69 ERA as a team. Saturday's starting pitcher sophomore Tyler O'Clair is 1-1 with a 3.48 ERA.

The RedHawks host Wright State on Tuesday for a midweek game at 6 p.m. Miami then welcomes Milwaukee to McKie Field at Hayden Park for a four-game series next weekend. First pitch on Friday, March 6 is at 5 p.m. The teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday, March 7 beginning at 1 p.m. The finale on Sunday, March 8 will start at 1 p.m.
