RedHawks Finish Leon Lurje Trophy with Season Best Scores

Miami posted a free skate score of 121.68 to take seventh in the final standings in Sweden.
GOTHENBURG, Sweden – Another clean skate yielded the best score of the season for the Miami senior synchronized skating team at the Leon Lurje Trophy on Saturday.
The RedHawks performed their Rise Up themed free skate to the tune of a 121.68 score and ultimately ended their competition seventh in the team standings with a total score of 186.98 for the weekend. For the second-straight outing, Miami's routine featured no deductions as it compiled a technical score of 61.68 and a component score of 60.
All of MU's marks were its best of the season. Team Paradise (Russia) won the competition with a score of 231.85 while Miami's score was the best among American teams.
Miami's senior team stays in Europe for another week as it readies itself for the French Cup in Rouen, France next weekend while the collegiate team heads to Synchro Illinois next Saturday.
