OXFORD, Ohio --Â The Miami University collegiate synchronized skating team won the national championship in 2025-26...because of course they did. The RedHawks captured their fifth-straight national title (and the 24th in program history), posting a record-breaking score of 122.81 at the U.S. National Synchronized Skating Championships in Salt Lake City, Utah in March.Â
The Miami senior team also impressed at the U.S. Championships, coming home from Salt Lake City with a bronze medal to cap a successful season for both teams. The collegiate team produced three first-place finishes, while the senior team represented the United States as Team USA at international competitions in England and Poland (including a fourth-place finish in a 10-team field at the Britannia Cup).
