Miami posted a short program score of 63.58 in Friday’s competition.
ROUEN, France – For the third-straight event, Miami's senior synchronized skating program posted a short program score above 63 as it began competition at the French Cup on Friday.
The RedHawks notched a score of 63.58 with their Rise Up Themed program, compiling an element score of 33.98 along with a component score of 30.60. A fall did cost the Red & White a point as it sits sixth in the team standings.
Miami resumes competition by performing its free skate at roughly 9:33 p.m. local time (3:33 p.m. ET) on Saturday. The RedHawks' collegiate team also skates at Synchro Illinois and results along with a recap for both competitions will be provided on MiamiRedHawks.com.
