Synchro Opens Season with Diamond Classic

Miami heads to Mentor, Ohio to get its 2019-20 campaign underway.
OXFORD, Ohio – After rigorously training since August, the Miami synchronized skating team makes its competitive debut for the 2019-20 season when it heads to the Ice Diamond Classic this weekend.
The RedHawks head to Mentor, Ohio for the two-day competition that begins on Friday.
MU's senior team, which placed fourth at last year's USA Synchronized Skating Championships, begins the competition with the short program on Friday at roughly 7:15 p.m. The Red & White's short program is set to Amazing Grace.
The RedHawks get back in action on Saturday morning, with the senior team performing their "Rise Up" themed free skate at 10:46 a.m. Miami's defending national champion collegiate program hits the ice around 12:24 p.m. to perform its free skate, which is a "Me and My Girls" theme.
