Field Hockey
Last Week: The RedHawks (16-7, 6-0 MAC) made their second-straight NCAA Tournament appearance after winning the MAC Tournament. On Wednesday, No. 24 Miami played at No. 22 Boston University in the opening round, shutting out the Terriers by a 2-0 margin. After a scoreless first half, Mariona Heras put Miami on the scoreboard midway through the second half. Morgan Sturm scored one minute later to cap scoring (Recap). On Friday, the RedHawks played at No. 3 Duke in the first round. Miami fell by a 0-1 margin with Maddie Passarella recording a season-high 13 saves (Recap). This Week: Paula Portugal will play in the NFHCA Senior Game on Friday in Louisville, Ky. following the conclusion of the NCAA Semifinal game.

Last Week: Miami (21-7, 13-3 MAC) completed the regular season by going 2-0 and capturing its third consecutive MAC Championship. The RedHawks got back on the winning track with a 3-1 (25-19, 25-23, 22-25, 25-18) victory over Kent State on Friday. (Recap) Picked to finish fourth in the Mid-American Conference East Division after graduating several high profile seniors, Miami earned its third straight MAC Regular Season Championship with a 3-0 (26-24, 30-28, 25-21) victory at Ohio on Saturday. (Recap) This Week: The RedHawks host the Mid-American Conference Tournament for the second consecutive season as they look for the repeat in that event. The tournament takes place Thursday through Sunday. Miami is the second seed and received a double bye to the semifinals. Its first match will take place on Saturday at 7 p.m. against either Ball State, Northern Illinois or Ohio. With a victory, the RedHawks will compete in the MAC Championship on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. All MAC Tournament matches will air live on ESPN+.

Last Week: A 21-point second quarter and a second-half safety allowed the Miami football (4-6, 4-2 MAC) team to prevail 30-28 in a Battle of the Bricks showdown with Ohio on Wednesday (Recap). This Week: Miami plays Northern Illinois on Wednesday at 8 p.m., live on ESPNU.

Last Week: The 19th-ranked RedHawks (8-4, 2-2 NCHC) split a weekend conference series with No. 11 North Dakota at home. Friday saw Miami fall behind 2-0 in the first period before a Ryan Siroky deflection got it on the board with 1.5 ticks remaining in the second. Despite a pair of third period power plays, that was as close as MU got as UND got a late empty net goal to seal a 3-1 win (Recap). The Red & White followed that up be riding a 36-save performance by Ryan Larkin and three-point night by Casey Gilling to a 3-2 victory in the series finale (Recap). This Week: Miami hits the road and resumes NCHC play at Colorado College on Friday (10 p.m.) and Saturday (8 p.m.).

Last Week: Miami (1-0) began the regular season with a game at Canisius on Friday. The RedHawks fought back from a 19-point deficit to earn their first win of the season. Senior Kendall McCoy led the Miami offense with 16 points and the Miami defense with seven rebounds. Lauren Dickerson, Savannah Kluesner and Kristen Levering also put up double digits (Recap). This Week: The RedHawks host Eastern Kentucky on Tuesday at 7 p.m. for the 2018-19 home opener. Miami then goes on the road to Detroit Mercy for a game on Friday. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.

Men's Basketball
Last Week: Miami (0-1) ran into a hot shooting Butler University squad as the Bulldogs came away with a 90-68 victory inside Hinkle Fieldhouse. It was the season opener for both schools. (Recap) This Week: An extremely busy week sees the RedHawks play four times. It begins on Monday with the home opener as Miami welcomes Midway to Millett Hall for a 7 p.m. tip. That game will air live on ESPN3. Then for the second straight season, Miami will leave the United States to participate in a tournament. This time the RedHawks head to Nassau, Bahamas for The Islands of the Bahamas Showcase. The eight-team tournament will take place Friday through Sunday at the Kendal Isaacs National Gymnasium. The RedHawks begin play on Friday when they take on North Dakota State in the first round at 2 p.m. They will then face either Montana or Incarnate Word on Saturday in either a second round game at 5 p.m. or a consolation game at 11 a.m. They will then take on either Pepperdine, Georgia Southern, Florida Atlantic or Towson at a to be determined time in the finale on Sunday. The tournament will be webcast for a fee of either $9.95 per game or $24.95 for the entire tournament. Fans can also listen to an audio broadcast from Miami College Sports Live online or the Miami IMG Sports Network on the radio, Steve Baker and Terry Bridge will have the call.

Synchronized Skating
Last Week: Miami's senior team headed to the Anaheim Ice Fall Classic aiming to further improve its scores in the early going. On Saturday, the RedHawks recorded a dynamic short program score of 67.2, ahead of all scores they recorded in last year's routine to grab a slim lead in the senior standings (Recap). MU wrapped up the weekend by scoring a 111.17 in the free skate for a total score of 178.37 and while that finished second, it marked a 12.3-point improvement from opening weekend and was topped only by the national championship meet among last year's scores (Recap). This Week: The RedHawks are idle until Nov. 30 when they begin competition at the Dr. Richard Porter Classic.

Swimming and Diving
Last Week: The full Miami squad competed in a dual meet at Cincinnati on Saturday. The RedHawk men (2-2) lost by a 141.5-158.5 margin while the women (4-2) lost 119-181. The Miami men swept the diving competition as well as the relays with James Wray, Nick Ward and Iago Moussalem picking up individual wins as well. The Miami women won the 200 medley relay and also saw individual wins from Ella Moynihan, Izzy Herb and Kayleigh Cannon (Recap). This Week: The RedHawks are idle.
