Leading 23-19, a kill by Riley off Amy Kendall's assist would give the Red and White set point. However, Buffalo still would not give up. The Bulls would fight off the five straight set points and eventually tie the score at 24. Miami fought back one last time, as Christina Menche and Raseman scored back-to-back kills to secure the 26-24 victory.
Buffalo scored the first five points of the fourth set and forced a Miami timeout. The RedHawks responded with an 8-3 run that tied the set at eight. The Bulls would answer with their own 6-3 run that put them in front, 14-11, but a block by Raseman and Cox, an attack error by Buffalo and a kill by Raseman would tie the score at 14. The teams would go back-and-forth trading points until it was tied at 22. Miami regained the lead off a block by Jenn Caylor and Cassie Farrell, but Buffalo scored the next kill to tie it at 23. The Bulls would commit a service error on the next point, and Farrell would follow with a kill to give the RedHawks a 25-23 win and the match, three sets to one.
