The RedHawks improve to 6-10 overall and 1-2 in the Mid-American Conference. The Falcons fall to 6-11 overall and 1-2 in the MAC.

The break did not help BG, as two Amy Raseman kills sparked a 4-2 close to give the RedHawks the first set, 25-20.

Miami built another lead in set two off several Bowling Green attack errors. In front 11-9, two kills apiece from Loftus and Metlzer, along with a double block by Metzler and Raseman helped give the RedHawks an 18-13 advantage. Set three started with the RedHawks quickly falling behind 0-7. Miami would follow with an 8-4 run featuring two kills from Farrell along with kills from Treadway and Loftus. The Falcons would then go on an aggressive attack, closing the set on a 13-3 run to earn a 25-11 win.

Two kills apiece from Treadway and Raseman helped Miami open a 7-2 advantage in set four. Bowling Green would then follow by scoring the next 14 points to put the RedHawks down nine at 7-16. Farrell scored the next point off a Michelle Mangia assist as Miami refused to give up. Two consecutive blocks -the first by Mangia and Farrell, second by Loftus and Farrell - pulled the RedHawks to within six at 12-18.

After a Bowling Green timeout, Treadway scored a service ace, while Loftus and Farrell each had kills to make it 15-19. Metzler followed with three consecutive kills and teamed with Loftus on a block to even set four at 19 apiece. Tied at 21, a kill by Treadway put the RedHawks in front again. The teams traded points until it was 24-23 in favor of the RedHawks. On match point, Raseman put down the winning kill off a Mangia assist to complete the comeback.

Metzler led Miami with 13 kills, hitting an impressive .667 for the match. Treadway had a career high eight kills to go along with nine digs. Loftus also had eight kills. Jackie Lang led the RedHawks with 11 assists, while Kendall had 26 assists.
