Farrell helped Miami make a run with three kills as the RedHawks got as close as 16-21. With the score 24-18 in favor of Memphis, Madison Dodd helped fight off set point by recording her first career kill off of a Kendall assist. Loftus was able to score the next point on a kill, but the Tigers then responded with a kill of their own to earn a 25-20 victory.

Miami fell behind, 4-11, in set four. After a timeout to regroup, two kills each from Metzler and Raseman, as well as kills from Metzler and Christina Menche sparked a 9-4 run that pulled the RedHawks to within two at 13-15. With Memphis ahead, 19-16, a double block by Farrell and Loftus, a service ace by Farrell and a setting error by the Tigers tied the set at 19. Memphis was able to retake the lead at 22-20, but Loftus and Caylor responded with kills to retie the score at 22. The Tigers followed by taking the next three points to win the set, 25-22, and the match, 3-1.
