Northern Illinois (6-12; 2-4 MAC) at Miami (11-7; 4-2 MAC)

After spotting NIU a 5-0 lead in the first minute, Miami went on a 12-0 run over the next 5:30, scoring five baskets, as well as a couple free throws.

Miami's first six baskets were all layups scored in the paint.

Miami shot 53.6 percent (15-for-28) during the first half, which was a season high for an opening half.\

Miami recorded a season high eight blocks during the contest.

With 80 points, the RedHawks crossed the 80 point mark for the second time this season (94 vs. Northwestern State - Dec. 6) and the 70-point mark for the third time this season (70, vs. Weber State - Nov. 12;).
