Nate Parseghian was successful on all four of his field goals attempts (35, 39, 34 and 22 yards). Nate was 5-for-5 at Ohio last year, earning MAC Special Teams Player of the Week honors. He tied Miami's record for single-season field goals (20, with Gary Gussman in 1987) and bettered Gussman's single-season mark for accuracy (.870, previous mark was .800, 20-25). Parseghian would up his career by successfully converting nailing 35-of-46 field goals. Mann was credited with the return for four yards, while Chris Givens ran the remaining 60 yards (no return) for the TD.
