Miami Seniors Go Through One of Final Practices

RedHawk Seniors Play Final Game
A special group of 19 Miami seniors will play its final collegiate game Friday. Though it's experienced a disappointing season this year, they do have plenty of positive memories. Coach Shane Montgomery's senior class shared the Mid-American Conference's East Division championship in both 2005 and '07.
Joe Coniglio (#51, defensive end, Rockford, Illinois): Joe will become a four-time letter winner for the RedHawks. He was selected as a third-team all-MAC performer in 2007 and has recorded 25 career tackles for loss.
Tom Crabtree (#80, tight end, Carroll, Ohio): Also will be a four-time varsity letter winner. He has 40 career receptions.
Kyle Decker (#17, holder/quarterback, Granville, Ohio): Against Ohio, Kyle will make his 48th consecutive appearance as the holder for Miami place kicks. He will earn four letters.
Dave DiFranco (#68, offensive tackle, LaGrange, Ohio): Despite chronic injuries to his ankles and legs, Dave will make his 38th start Friday as a member of Miami's offensive line. He has served as a co-captain in 2008.
Joey Hudson (#48, linebacker, Piqua, Ohio): A two-time team captain, Joey has been a consummate student-athlete, succeeding on the field and in the classroom. One of Miami's all-time leading tacklers, he has a team-leading 98 stops this season and more than 300 over the course of his career.
Mickey Mann (#49, linebacker, Avon Lake, Ohio): Mickey will win his third Miami varsity football letter in 2008. He has been a valuable special teams player.
Clayton Mullins (#9, linebacker, Fairborn, Ohio): The defending MAC Defensive Player of the Year will record his second-consecutive 100-tackle season. He has 335 career stops.
Jake O'Connell (#83, tight end, Naples, Florida): The soon-to-be three-time letter winner has been Miami's leading receiver among tight ends each of the last two seasons. He has 20 for 215 yards in 2008.
Brian Palascak (#28, defensive back, Chicago,Illinois): Will earn his second varsity letter this season after originally coming to Miami as a walk-on.
NATE PARSEGHIAN (#35, placekicker, Sylvania, Ohio): Will participate in his final game as a RedHawk, excelling in 2008. His has converted 16-of-19 field goal attempts and all 21 of his PATs, and leads Miami in scoring with 69 points.
JAKE RICHARDSON (#4, punter, Oxford, Ohio): A home-grown RedHawk, he is the odds-on favorite to be a first-team all-MAC pick in 2008. Currently ranks second in the NCAA with a Miami single-season record punting average of 46 yards.
Rion Robinson (#46, linebacker, Dayton, Ohio): A special teams contributor in 2008, he will earn his first varsity letter.
Chris Rodriguez (#30, running back, Olympia Fields, Illinois): Chris joined Miami's football team as a walk-on last August and should win a varsity letter. He also has played baseball for the RedHawks.
BRIAN ROLAND (#16, defensive back, Detroit, Michigan): A starter at cornerback last Friday at Toledo, he should win his first varsity letter in 2008.
Josh Satterthwait (#52, offensive center, Roswell, Georgia): A starter all year at center, he has been one of the RedHawks' most consistent linemen in 2008. Josh will win his third letter.
Pat Shepard (#87, tight end, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania): The third-year letter winner has appeared in 37 games since 2006.
Chris Shula (#20, linebacker, Cooper City, Florida): The most versatile of all of the Miami linebackers, Chris has a career-best 59 tackles in 2008.
Steve Sutter (#55, offensive tackle, Saint Henry, Ohio): Steve will start his 31st consecutive game for Miami on Friday. He will earn his fourth varsity letter in 2008.
Robbie Wilson (#6, strong safety, Cincinnati, Ohio): The RedHawk co-captain ranks as Miami's third-leading tackler in 2008 with 71 stops. He'll wind up winning four varsity letters.
