RedHawks Get Past Buffalo, 57-55

OXFORD, Ohio (AP) - Juby Johnson scored 21 points as Miami University beat Buffalo 57-55 Saturday.
The Bulls (3-14, 0-8 Mid-American Conference) took a 33-25 lead at halftime and took a 43-28 lead with 15:58 to play in the second half. The RedHawks (9-9, 7-2 MAC) responded with a 23-7 run to take a 51-50 lead with 4:11 to play. Johnson scored 14 points during the run.
The Bulls cut it to 57-55 with 10 seconds to play on a layup by Roderick Middleton, but Turner Battle missed a 3-pointer with two seconds to play.
Battler led Buffalo with 13 points and Mark Bortz had 11. Danny Horace had 16 points for the RedHawks.
