2006-07: Competed in a variety of events, including the freestyle, breaststroke, and individual medley ... at the conference meet, swam the 50 freestyle (25.34) and 100 freestyle (55.85) in exhibition swims ... both performances at the MAC Championships were season-best clockings ... during the regular season, turned in season-best times in the 100 breaststroke (1:08.96) and 200 breaststroke (2:32.48).
High School: Earned all-America honors in 2005 in the 200 medley relay ... helped Mercersburg Academy to back-to-back third-place finishes (2005 and 2006) at the Eastern Scholastic Swimming and Diving Championships ... served as team captain for the 2005-06 seasons ... also competed for the Marietta YMCA.
Personal: Daughter of Julie and Frank Leyshon ... chemical engineering major.
