Biography

2015-16: Academic All-MAC ... Won the Robin Chico award ... Placed fourth in the 200-yard freestyle (1:57.13), fifth in the 500-yard freestyle (5:16.05) and 17th in the 100-yard freestyle (54.91), all during the Ohio State Invitational. 2014-2015: Academic All-MAC … finished second in the 200-yard medley relay against Butler (1:49.37) … placed fourth in the event at Cincinnati (1:49.97) and eighth at Purdue (1:52.09) … came in fourth in the 200-yard freestyle relay against Xavier (1:40.31) … placed fourth in the 200-yard IM against Buffalo (2:09.75), fifth at the Ohio Senior Meet (2:06.62) and 16th at the Miami Invitational (2:07.10) … finished fifth in the 100-yard butterfly against Toledo (59.19), at Cincinnati (59.68) and at Purdue (1:00.18) … came in eighth in the event at the Ohio Senior Meet (57.07) and 11th at the Miami Invitational (56.97) … came in fourth in the 400-yard freestyle relay against Toledo (3:35.79) and fifth at Purdue (3:45.20) … finished sixth in the 200-yard freestyle at the Ohio Senior Meet (1:54.66) … came in ninth in the 200-yard backstroke against Ohio State (2:12.74), 11th at the Miami Invitational (2:04.16) and 12th at the Ohio Senior Meet (2:03.66) … finished 20th in the 100-yard backstroke at the Ohio Senior Meet (58.06). 2013-2014: Zilch began the season with an eighth-place finish in the 100 backstroke and a fourth-place finish in the 200 freestyle relay against Purdue. Zilch was fifth in the 200 medley relay against Xavier and took first in the 100 butterfly. She finished sixth against Akron in the 100 backstroke and finished fourth in the 100 butterfly. Against Bowling Green, Zilch swam to a fifth-place finish in the 100 backstroke and a second-place finish in the 100 butterfly. She finished third in the 200 medley relay and third in the 100 butterfly against Ball State. At the Miami Invitational, Zilch finished sixth in the 800 freestyle relay, 17th in the 200 freestyle, 19th in the 100 backstroke, fifth in the 400 medley relay, 11th in the 100 butterfly and fifth in the 400 freesyle relay. Against Cincinnati, Zilch was seventh in the 100 backstroke and first in the 100 butterfly. She contributed to a first-place finish in the 200 medley relay against Evansville, a second-place finish in the 100 backstroke and a first-place victory in the 200 backstroke. She also was a third-place finisher in the 400 freestyle relay against Evansville. She took third in the 200 medley relay, fifth in the 100 butterfly and third in the 200 freestyle relay against Buffalo. In the 200 medley relay, she contributed to another third-place finish against Eastern Michigan the next meet and finished sixth in the 100 backstroke and fifth in the 100 butterfly individually against the Eagles. Against Ohio, Zilch finished third in the 100 butterfly. 2012-13 season: Attended University of Utah before transferring to Miami.
