2017-18: Skated on the collegiate team … finished in the top three of all six meets … won Synchro Illinois in January and the Tri-State Championships in February … placed second at the Dr. Richard Porter Classic in December … took third at the U.S. National Championships.
2016-17: Skated on the collegiate team … finished top-two in all five meets … won three events, the Diamond Classic, Synchro Illinois and the Midwestern Championships … also placed second at the Dr. Richard Porter Classic … finished runner-up at the U.S. National Championships.
PRIOR TO MIAMI: Skated individually at the junior ladies and senior ladies level ... has competed in eight regional championships ... placed ninth overall in 2014 at the Upper Great Lakes Regional Championships (Junior Ladies).
PERSONAL: Daughter of Ron and Peggy Safer ... born January 24, 1996 ... started a Learn to Skate program at hometown rink specifically for children with special needs ... volunteered and taught classes ... psychology major.
