Appeared in 36 games, making 23 starts during sophomore season ... was primarily a pitcher, but made appearance as designated player and pinch-hitter ... finished with 6-9 record and 4.41 ERA ... led RedHawks with 112.2 innings pitched and 82 strikeouts ... threw two complete game shutouts and was second on Miami with three saves during year ... earned victory, allowing only one run on three hits in 4.2 innings pitched against Eastern Illinois (Feb. 11) ... hit grand slam home run against Hampton (Feb. 25) ... allowed only one run on two hits in 6.0 innings pitched in win over Detroit Mercy (March 18) ... threw complete game shutout allowing only three hits in victory over Western Michigan (March 24) ... earned save with two innings work in win against Buffalo (April 22).

Appeared in 20 games during freshman season, making three starts ... saw time as pinch-hitter, designated player and made four appearances in the circle with one start ... hit .391 and drove in five RBIs on the year ... made first career pitching appearance against Alabama (Feb. 19) ... went 3-for-4 with one RBI, hitting two doubles against Lipscomb (Feb. 28) ... also made first pitching start vs. Bison ... drove in two RBI in pinch-hit role in win over Butler (March 15) ... drove in run pinch-hitting in win over Buffalo (May 7).

High School
A four-year letterwinner for Waubonsie Valley High School in Aurora, Illinois ... was team's primary starting pitcher past four seasons ... as a senior in 2015 had 186 strikeouts in 118 innings pitched ... named honorable mention All-State along with All-Area, All-Conference and Academic All-Conference ... set school record with 200 strikeouts in 2013 season ... also an accomplished hitter, batting .451 with seven home runs and 39 RBIs and a senior in 2015 ... played club softball for New Lenox Lightning.
