2005-06: All-MAC First Team ... MAC Champion 100 Breaststroke ... won first career conference gold medal with a first-place time in the 100 breast (56.51) at the MAC Championships ... added a pair of 'B' final finishes in the 50 free (21.07; 10th) and 100 free (46.64; ninth) at the conference meet ... all three times he turned in at the conference meet were career-best clockings ... swam a leg on the MAC Champion 200 medley and 200 freestyle relay teams ... won three additional individual events during the season, with two top finishes coming in the 50 free (Cleveland State and Ball State) and one in the 200 breast (Buffalo).
2004-05: Competed at the MAC meet as a rookie, scoring in three events with a high finish of sixth in the 100 breast (57.07) ... set career-highs in that event as well as the 50 free and 200 breast at the meet ... won the 100 breast versus Ohio and the 50 free and 100 breast at the Xavier-IUPUI dual meet.
High School: Enters with a personal best of 21.36 in the 50 free and 58.10 in the 100 breast ... lettered in swimming all four years at Deerfield High School, where his team won its conference title in all four seasons.
Personal: Born Mar. 11, 1986 ... son of Ted and Cheryl Kuczek ... psychology major.
