Skated in 34 of the team’s 36 games … member of the NCHC Academic All-Conference Team … chipped in five points on a career-high two goals and three assists from the blue line … blocked a team-high 61 shots with a season-high eight coming in a 3-1 win over Denver (1/29) … posted a +1 rating or higher eight times, including a +2 rating on three occasions … scored a goal and finished a +2 in both games of a series sweep against Colorado College (2/26-27), netting a shorthanded goal in game one and netting the first and game-winning goal in the series finale … earned NCHC Defenseman of the Week on Feb. 29 for his performance against Colorado College.
2014-15
Played in 35 games ... posted six points on a goal and five assists ... recorded a +5 rating on the ice ... ranked third on the team with 45 blocked shots ... made first appearance of the season against St. Lawrence (10/25), where he dished out an assist and went +1 in a 2-1 victory, and played every game afterwards ... also assisted on a goal, went +2 and blocked a season-high four shots against Colorado College (11/8) ... scored first-collegiate goal against Cornell (12/29) ... went +1 or better 13 times ... also finished +2 against Omaha (12/5) and in game three of the NCHC Playoffs against Western Michigan (3/15).
2013-14
Logged 24 games on the blue line … finished the year with five points (all assists) … recorded three assists in the first four games to open the season … placed on the NCHC Academic All-Conference team … was sixth on the team in blocked shots with 36 … he committed only one penalty for two minutes in 24 games played …had his best statistical game Oct. 19 vs. North Dakota where he posted a +2 rating while dishing an assist and blocking two shots en route to a 6-2 Miami victory.
2012-13
Played in 40 of 42 games, recording four assists ... was fourth on the team in blocked shots with 49 ... his first career point came against Michigan State (Nov. 17) and his second came against Alaska (Nov. 30), giving him points in back-to-back games ... dished out primary assist on game-winner at Western Michigan (Feb. 9) ... made collegiate debut Oct. 12 vs. Colgate ... posted a +2 rating while committing eight penalties for 19 minutes.
Prior to Miami
Played the 2011-12 season with the Fargo Force of the USHL and helped them make the playoffs ... one of just two players on the Force to play in all 60 games ... recorded seven goals and nine assists with a +8 rating ... spent the 2010-11 season with the Aberdeen Wings in the North American Hockey League (NAHL) ... appeared in 53 games on the blueline, tallying 12 points, including 10 helpers ... in two seasons at Blaine High School, suited up for 50 games and notched 22 points, including 18 assists, with a +22 rating ... helped Blaine make the state tournament both years, including third place in 2009 ... earned all-conference in 2009-10.
