Before Miami
Spent the 2015-16 season with the Georgetown Raiders, going 28-9-3 with a league-leading .934 save percentage along with a 2.00 goals against average … named OJHL Goaltender of the Year and was also a Second-Team All-Star … also landed on the CJHL Central All-Star, which recognizes all three Central Canadian Junior A leagues … also posted a .928 save percentage with a 2.41 goals against average in the playoffs … spent most of the prior two seasons with the St. Mary’s Lincolns of the GOJHL, where he notched a .902 save percentage in 45 games … recorded a league-best 1.71 goals against average and .942 save percentage in 14 games with the MWJCHL’s Paris Mounties during the 2013-14 season … played his midget hockey with the Kitchener Jr. Rangers … played slo-pitch and was Resurrection Catholic Secondary School’s MVP as a junior in 2012 … played golf from 2010-12, winning a district title in 2010.

Born May 25, 1995 … son of Kathy Doherty-Masters and Fred Masters … looking to major in either finance, business economics and economics … enjoys golf, reading, traveling and working out … grandfather, Pat Doherty, served as a long time hockey executive and won the Gordon Jucke Award in 1997 … became a goalie at age 10 after playing the position in a game in an emergency capacity in Lake Placid.
