2010-11: Served as team co-captain ... played in 10 games ... hauled in a rebound against Saginaw Valley (12/7) ... named the team's Marshall North Award winner for a second straight year, given to the player who best exemplifies the virtue of loyalty--to the University, team and coaches--and whose personal sacrifice of time, effort and energy contribute materially to the advancement of the record of the team ... also named the Miami Athletic Department[apos]s Spirit of Miami Award winner, presented annually to a male and female student-athletefor their exceptional enthusiastic commitments to their teams.
2009-10: Saw action in four games ... saw first action of the season against Evansville (11/28) and also played against Temple (12/8), versus Southeast Missouri State (2/20) and against Buffalo (3/4) ... played a season-most two minutes against the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks ... was Miami[apos]s Marshall North Award winner, given to the player who best exemplifies the virtue of loyalty.
2008-09: Played in six games ... saw first action of the season at Temple (12/3) ... also played against Northwestern State (12/6), UW-Milwaukee (12/11), at West Virginia (12/20), against Northern Illinois (1/28) and against Ball State (2/4) ... scored first point of the season against Northwestern State (12/6) when he went 1-for-2 from the free-throw line ... played a career-high five minutes against Northern Illinois (1/28).
2007-08: Saw action in eight games ... saw first action of his career against Indiana State (12/4) ... also played at Kansas (12/22), vs. Kent State (1/17), at Northern Illinois (1/30), vs. Toledo (2/6), vs. Ohio (3/1), vs. Bowling Green (3/9) and at Tulsa (3/19) ... recorded his first career rebound against Toledo (2/6) and notched his first career basket against Ohio (3/1) ... played a season-most two minutes against Bowling Green (3/9) and at Tulsa (3/19).

HIGH SCHOOL: Played his freshman and senior seasons at Talawanda High School and his sophomore and junior campaigns at Badin High School ... an all-league, all-city and all-district selection as a senior, helping the Braves to a 15-5 league record and an MML championship ... averaged 15 ppg and 8.5 rpg as a senior ... as a junior, averaged 11 ppg and 5 rpg ... an all-league and all-district underclassman selection as a junior and a second-team all-city selection ... a three-year letterwinner in basketball, captaining the Talawanda squad as a senior ... coached by Michael DeCello.
