Named First-Team All-MAC and Second-Team All-Mideast Region ... earned MAC East Player of the Week honors April 20 after registering 10 hits, 10 runs and eight RBI in five games that week ... started all 53 games he played in, missing just two games all year... batted .350, fourth on the team, while scoring a team-best 67 runs, which ranks fourth in Miami single-season history and fifth in the MAC in 2009 ... his 1.26 runs per game ranked 34th nationally ... scored a career-high four runs April 18 vs. Buffalo, which tied a Miami season high ... tallied 75 hits, including 12 doubles and a team-best six triples, which tied for second in the MAC, 24th nationally and fourth on Miami[apos]s single-season ledger ... also belted 11 home runs, third on the team, including his first-career round-tripper Feb. 22 at the College of Charleston ... clubbed two bombs April 18 vs. Buffalo (game one), which tied a Miami season high, as did his two triples the day before vs. the Bulls ... drove in 48 runs, including a career-best four RBI April 17 vs. Buffalo ... totaled 132 bases, second on the team, while slugging .617, also second ... earned 24 free passes and was plunked 26 times, which was first in the MAC and second in the country, for an on-base percentage of .468, which was sixth in the league and second on the team ... stole 28 bases and was caught stealing just once, with the 28 stolen bases tying for fourth on Miami[apos]s single-season chart and ranking fourth in the MAC ... made just three errors in 118 chances for a .975 fielding percentage in the outfield ... totaled 12 multi-RBI games and 23 multi-hit games, including a career-high four hits April 18 vs. Buffalo ... had two nine-game hitting streaks during the season and hit safely in 44 of 53 games ... also pitched a scoreless inning in his only appearance on the mound May 9 vs. Ohio.

Tallied a .294 batting average, .374 on-base percentage and a .406 slugging percentage ... posted three three-hit games ... earned his first career hit, a triple, on Feb. 22 vs. Arizona State ... drove in 26 runs, stole eight bases and hit 15 doubles on the season ... scored 38 runs and posted 55 hits on the campaign, including three triples.
