2008: Earned First-Team All-MAC honors for her performance during sophomore season ... also named to the NFCA All-Mideast Region second team ... also a strong student, was named to the All-MAC Softball All-Academic team ... once again one of the RedHawks[apos] top hitters, she was fifth on the team with a .327 average and ranked second with 25 RBIs ... started all 50 games for Miami splitting time in the outfield and at catcher ... recorded 17 multi-hit games during season ... went three-for-four against eventual national champion Arizona State (Feb. 24), with two doubles and one RBI ... set a new career-high with four hits against Eastern Kentucky (April 1) ... scored a career-high three runs against Bowling Green (April 4) ... had 24 hits in 22 conference games, reaching base in 17 out of the 22 ... finished third on the team in slugging percentage at .442 and tied for second with 51 hits ... finished a perfect 11-for-11 in stolen base attempts.

Miami[apos]s most potent power bat who tied the program[apos]s then single-season record with nine home runs ... had first career multi-home run game against Eastern Kentucky (Feb. 23) at the Panera Bread Classic when she went 2-for-2 with three RBIs ... hit six of her nine home runs in non-conference action, including two against Purdue and three at the Miami Softball Invitational (March 23-25) ... reset the Miami single-season walks record with 32 free passes ... reached base safely in 22 of Miami[apos]s last 23 games ... hit safely in 11 of Miami[apos]s final 14 games ... tied for the highest overall batting average (.243) from a freshman position player ... started 60 of Miami[apos]s 62 games, splitting time between catcher and outfield ... her 26 RBIs and 42 hits were the most by a Miami freshman this season ... ranked second on the team with nine stolen bases in 10 attempts.
