Played for the Thomasville HiToms of the Coastal Plains League, leading them to the CPL playoffs with a 26-28 mark, playing alongside Miami teammates Tyler Melling and Ryan Curl ... made 15 appearances on the mound, 14 in relief, compiling a 1.71 ERA (best on the team among pitchers with more than one appearance) ... worked 21.6 innings and allowed just five earned runs while firing 41 strikeouts ... went 2-1 on the summer and picked up a save ... as a batter, played in 21 games with 16 starts ... hit .200 with two doubles, two home runs and six RBI.
