RedHawks Welcome Buffalo to Millett Hall Thursday and Friday

THIS WEEK: Miami continues Mid-American Conference play by hosting the Buffalo Bulls for a pair of matches on Thursday, Oct. 1 at 6:30 p.m and Friday, Oct. 2 at 6:30 p.m. Thursday's match is a One Miami match with complimentary tickets, courtesy of President Greg & University Ambassador Dr. Renate Crawford, with the promo code OMDVOLLEYBALL at MiamiRedHawks.com/promos. There will be an autograph session following Thursday's match.
ABOUT BUFFALO: In the 2025 season, Buffalo went 9-18 and 6-12 in the MAC. The Bulls are currently 9-4 (1-1 MAC) after defeating Kent State 3-0 on Friday and dropping to Toledo 3-1 on Sunday. Buffalo was selected to finish eighth overall in the MAC Preseason Poll.Â
The Red and White are 35-17 when facing off with the Bulls. The RedHawks hold a 19-7 record when taking on Buffalo at home. Last season, Miami won its only match against Buffalo in Broadview Arena, as the RedHawks secured a 3-0 victory on Friday, Sept. 26. Prior to last season, the Bulls won seven consecutive matches.
TELEVISION: Each match versus Buffalo will be available to watch on ESPN+.

SERVING SPECIALISTS: This season, the RedHawks have already produced 82 service aces, averaging 1.82 service aces per set and out-serving opponents 82-45. Miami ranks first in the MAC and 48th in the nation in aces per set (1.82/set). Grace Kreutz leads the team in serving, as she is first in the MAC and ranks 47th nationally in aces per set (0.49/set). Earlier this season, Kreutz collected a career-high six service aces in a single match versus South Carolina State.
STRONG START: The Red and White concluded non-conference play with an 8-3 record (best start to a season since 2013). During that stretch, the RedHawks won seven straight matches, which was the longest win streak since Miami recorded nine consecutive wins in the 2019 season.Â
