HOW IT HAPPENED
- The RedHawks started the scoring in the first, as Bailey Manos got on base with a triple. Danitza Hernandez then drove Manos home with a flyout. Mckenna Campbell then hit an RBI triple, bringing in Daina Munoz from first. Lastly, Campbell ran home on a groundout from Kari Krueger. Miami led 3-0 after one inning of play.
- Miami extended its lead to 4-0 in the second. Mia Estrello hit an RBI single, scoring Ella Carter, who got on base with a double.
- In the third inning, the Red and White continued their rally to 6-0. Katy Olive was the lead-off hitter and got on base with a walk and advanced to second via a stolen base. Krueger hit an RBI triple as Olive scored. Leila Mathis went in as a pinch runner for Krueger, and when Erin Pinter hit a groundout, Mathis scored.
- The Norse put one on the board in the fourth with a homerun to left field, 6-1.
- Miami added to their lead 8-1 in the top of the sixth. Hernandez hit an RBI triple to bring in Manos from first, and Hernandez scored on a wild pitch from third.
- NKU scored two more in the bottom of the same inning, once on a sacrifice fly and once off an RBI double. Finishing the inning with a score of 8-3.
- In the seventh, Estrello blasted a home run with Carter and Pinter on base to extend their lead and bring the final score to 11-3.

- Mia Estrello went 2-for-3 at the plate with one home run and three RBI.
- Ella Carter went 2-for-4 at the plate with two runs.
- Mckenna Campbell went 2-for-4 at the plate with one run and one RBI.
- Presley Hosick pitched three innings, with no runs and only two hits.
