Miami Football to Hold Annual Spring Showcase April 25
Miami Football will hold its annual Spring Showcase, presented by Raising Cane's and Reputable Roofing, on Saturday, April 25 at the Dauch Indoor Sports Center. The RedHawks will hold an open practice beginning at 11:30 a.m. The day also includes the annual equipment sale, concessions food truck and more.

Miami Baseball hits the road for a mid-week game at Purdue on Tuesday before heading to Toledo for a three-game weekend series Friday-Sunday. Miami went 2-1 against Ohio, including two run-rule wins to close out the series. Ignacio Gonzalez recorded eight RBIs in Sunday's win, including a sixth-inning grand slam to cement the victory. The RedHawks were edged in a mid-week game against Cincinnati.
Miami Softball travels to Northern Kentucky Tuesday before hosting Purdue in a 5 p.m. game Wednesday. The RedHawks then host Ball State in a three-game Friday/Saturday series with a 3 p.m. single game Friday and a 1 p.m. doubleheader Saturday. Miami swept a three-game series at Toledo, including two run-rule wins. Angelina Ricciardi threw a no-hitter in a 9-1 win against the Rockets Saturday. The RedHawks went 1-2 in a midweek series with Ohio. Champion Miami Softball to Excellence! Stop by the Miami Athletic Fund table prior to each game this weekend against Ball State to purchase exclusive Miami Softball Gear and Autographed Items! All proceeds benefit the Miami Softball Excellence Fund!
Miami Tennis notched a 6-1 win against Dayton in non-conference action Friday before collecting a key 6-1 win against Eastern Michigan on Sunday. The RedHawks hit the road for a non-conference match at Marshall Friday at 1 p.m. before wrapping up MAC play and the regular season at Ball State on Sunday at 12 p.m.
Miami Track & Field hosts the RedHawk Invitational Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. The team is coming off a strong showing at the Ball State We Can Fly Challenge. Kate Hallie made history by setting the program's outdoor discus record with a throw of 50.95m. Miami had 16 individuals earn Academic All-MAC honors for the indoor track & field season.
Miami Golf has individuals competing in the Bridgeport Collegiate Invitational in Morgantown, W.Va., April 13-14. Miami notched a third-place finish at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate over the weekend with Cameron Pero finishing third overall. The team finished eighth amongst a very competitive field at the Calusa Cup early last week.
Miami Swimming & Diving landed eight individuals on the CSC Academic All-District Team.
Miami Men's Basketball signed Stevie Elam. He joins the RedHawks after spending one year at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, earning a spot on the All-Freshman Team.
