OXFORD, Ohio – Taylor Young has been named the Director of Ticket Sales for Miami Athletics.
Young comes to Miami after spending the past three years as the Senior Ticketing Manager for the Cincinnati Cyclones. During his time with the Cyclones, he oversaw a ticket sales department that managed all season and single game ticket sales for the hockey program. He also worked directly with birthday packages, corporate groups and luxury suite sales.
"I want to thank Brad Okel for the opportunity to join Miami Athletics," said Young. "I'm excited to become part of the RedHawks family and can't wait to get started working alongside such a talented department. I look forward to welcoming RedHawks Nation to our athletic events throughout the 2026–27 season and helping create memorable experiences for our fans. I can't wait to get started—Go RedHawks!"
Prior to joining the ECHL team, Young worked as a Hospitality Sales Account Manager with the Charlotte Knights in 2023. He sold and serviced birthday packages, corporate groups, luxury suite outings and hospitality area outings.
He has also spent time with the State College Spikes (2016-20), IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions (2016) Orange Bowl Committee (2015-16) and Akron RubberDucks (2015).
"We are excited to welcome Taylor to Miami Athletics," said Brad Okel, Assistant V.P of Development/Associate AD of Revenue Generation. "His experience building successful group sales initiatives and creating premium hospitality experiences will be an incredible asset as we continue to grow our fan base and provide memorable game-day experiences. Taylor understands how to connect people with our programs, and we are excited about the energy, creativity and leadership he brings to our external team."
Young graduated from Wittenberg University in 2013 with a sports management degree and added a sports management master's degree from West Virginia in 2014.
