Morrison Honored by NCHC for Classroom Achievements

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.— Miami forward Brayden Morrison was named to the NCHC Academic All-Conference Team today. This is the first year the National has recognized this team, which is made up of one student-athlete from each institution in the conference.
The Academic All-Conference honor goes to the upperclassman with the highest cumulative GPA on each NCHC roster who has been with the program for at least one full academic year.
Morrison, a senior from Calgary, Alberta, is an Economics major in Miami's College of Arts and Science with a minor in Entrepreneurship.
The RedHawks open the Frozen Faceoff with a best-of-three quarterfinal series at second-seeded Denver beginning Friday, March 6 at 9 p.m. ET.
