Softball Climbs to 10th in Mid-Major Rankings

D1Softball.com – After a 4-1 weekend and a pair of wins over the Big Ten, the Miami softball team climbed to 10th in the 2026 D1Softball Mid-Major Rankings. The RedHawks opened the season 18th in the same rankings.
Miami dropped the season opener to Kentucky and rallied for wins over Minnesota (twice), San Diego State and Loyola Chicago to close out the opening weekend.
