ON TAP: The Miami University women's basketball team welcomes the Buffalo Bulls to Oxford, Ohio for a Wednesday, Jan. 21 showdown. Opening tip is set for 7 p.m.
DOUBLE TROUBLE: Amber Tretter has 25 double-doubles (fourth-best in program history) in her career and is a near walking double-double in points (13.9) and rebounds (8.1) this season. She is also on pace to become just the second RedHawk in program history to record 1,000 career rebounds and has scored 897 career points, which ranks 32nd in program history. She has scored in double figures in 13 straight games.
BALANCED SCORING: Miami has four players averaging double-digits in scoring, led by Amber Tretter (13.9 ppg.). She is joined by Amber Scalia (13.5 ppg.), Ilse de Vries (11.6 ppg.) and Tamar Singer (10.0 ppg.). Singer has led Miami in scoring a team-high five times, while Tretter and Scalia have done it four times each.
RED-HOT REDHAWKS: Since Nov. 29, the RedHawks have lost just one contest and have won 10 of their last 11 games, including seven-straight.
BY THE MARGINS: Miami is currently fourth in the MAC in scoring (70.7) and first in defense (58.6), which results in a 12.1 point margin of victory, second-best in the conference. The RedHawks are second in the MAC in field goal percentage (.451), first in three-pointers made (149), second in free throw percentage (77.1%) and first in turnover margin (6.4).
BGSU RECAP: Miami used a 7-2 run to close the contest in a 51-49 road victory at Bowling Green last Saturday. Ilse de Vries had a game-high 17 points, Amber Scalia added 12 and Amber Tretter chipped in with 10 as the RedHawks captured their seventh-straight win. Miami forced a season-high 28 turnovers versus the Falcons.
MAC MOMENTUM: Miami's 6-0 record in MAC play is the second-best conference start in program history, trailing just the 1989-90 Miami team that opened the year 9-0.Â

She has already posted 11 double-digit scoring contests after just three in 2024-25.
