
RedHawks Open Season Versus James Madison in MAC-SBC Challenge

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Coming off arguable the greatest season in women's basketball history, the RedHawks begin the 2026-27 season with a home game versus James Madison on Monday, Nov. 2 in the MAC-SBC Challenge.
Miami finished last season 28-7 overall and 16-2 in conference play, which included a MAC Regular Season and MAC Tournament Championship. The RedHawks also played in their first NCAA Tournament game since 2008.
The RedHawks return three players from last season's historic run, including first-team All-MAC performer Amber Tretter, defensive specialist Núria Jurjo and Brooke Blumenfeld, who is returning from an injury.
