Herbet Named MAC Scholar-Athlete of the Week

CLEVELAND--Â Miami junior Kaylin Herbet was named MAC Female Scholar-Athlete of the Week, the conference announced today.
Herbet helped the Miami women's swimming and diving team to victory over Oakland and Denison last weekend, producing six first-place finishes in a tri-meet in Michigan. Herbet won the 50 free, 100 free and 200 free while also capturing first place with three Miami relays (200 freestyle relay, 400 freestyle relay and 400 medley relay).
She is studying Humanities Engagement, Media and Communication, and Journalism at Miami.
The RedHawks are back in action Friday, Jan. 16 at 2 p.m. for a home meet at the Corwin M. Nixon Aquatic Center.
