Meet the 2025-26 Miami Hockey Team: Ilia Morozov

OXFORD, Ohio— With the Miami Hockey season set to begin on Friday, Oct. 3 against Ferris State at Steve "Coach" Cady Arena, second-year head coach Anthony Noreen's program will have quite a few new faces in 2025-26.

Ilia Morozov, a forward from Moscow, Russia, will join the RedHawks this year. He spent last season in the USHL with the Tri-City Storm.

Produced 22 points (11-11-22) in 59 games for Tri-City during the 2024-25 season as a 16-year-old
Compiled a five-game point streak in November 2024 and collected his first multi-goal game with Tri-City on Jan. 17, 2025
Was the youngest player on the Storm's 2024-25 opening-night roster
Put up 74 points (33-41-74) in 49 games with Windy City Storm 15U AAA team in 2023-24
