Drobac Snags Third-Team All-NCHC Honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.— The National Collegiate Hockey Conference released its All-NCHC selections today, and Miami sophomore goaltender Matteo Drobac was named Third-Team All-NCHC.
Drobac was a standout between the pipes for the RedHawks this year, starting 35 of 36 games and posting a 17-16-2 record with three shutouts. He recorded 982 saves (second on Miami's single-season list) with a 2.69 GAA and .913 save percentage, while becoming just the fourth different Miami goaltender to play 2,000 minutes in a single season. Drobac's 17 victories in net in a single season are tied for eighth in program history and helped Miami to one of the biggest turnarounds in Division I hockey over the past half-century. Drobac was recognized as NCHC Goaltender of the Week four times this season and was named the Player of the Tournament at the 2025 Friendship Four. He is the first Miami player to be named to an All-NCHC team since the 2020-21 season.
