Top Moments of 2024-25: #5 Men's Basketball Plays in MAC Title Game

Our list continues today with the Miami men's basketball team competing in the MAC Tournament title game for the first time since 2007.
Head coach Travis Steele and the RedHawks secured the program's most MAC wins since 2005-06 to enter the MAC Tournament as the No. 2 seed (highest seed since 2005). Miami opened the tournament by defeating Eastern Michigan 81-75 in the quarterfinal game and went on to take down Kent State 72-64 in the quarterfinal game. Miami fell just short to top-seeded Akron by a score of 76-74 in the championship game. Kam Craft and Peter Suder were named to the MAC All-Tournament Team for their efforts throughout the tournament. The Red and White finished the season with 25 wins for the first time in program history.
