OXFORD, Ohio – On Friday evening, the Miami University men's basketball team announced that it will host IU East in an exhibition game on Monday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m.
As a part of this special night at Millett Hall, Miami men's and women's basketball will each unveil banners to celebrate their historic 2025-26 seasons. The men's ceremony is scheduled for pregame, while the women's ceremony will take place at halftime.
Both Miami teams won MAC regular-season titles last season and advanced to their respective NCAA Tournaments while setting program records for most wins in a season in the process. The men produced a perfect 31-0 regular season and went on to defeat SMU in the First Four, finishing with a 32-2 record. The women added a MAC Tournament championship, the program's first since 2008, and compiled a 28-7 overall mark.
Tickets to the Oct. 26 exhibition game will be available for $10 each and will go on sale next Wednesday, Oct. 7. All men's and women's basketball season ticket packages include the Oct. 26 men's exhibition.
Both Miami teams open the 2026-27 regular season on Monday, Nov. 2 against James Madison as part of the MAC-Sun Belt Challenge. The women will host the Dukes that evening, with the men traveling to Harrisonburg, Va. for their contest.
