Top Moments of 2024-25: #9 Skating Claims Another National Title

This summer, MiamiRedHawks.com is counting down 10 of Miami Athletics' top moments from the 2024-25 season.

Our list continues today with Miami Skating capturing yet another collegiate national title.

The Miami University varsity synchronized skating teams saved their best for last, concluding the 2024-25 competitive season with stellar showings at the U.S. Championships in Colorado Springs, Colo. Miami's collegiate team finished first in a 12-team field to win its fourth consecutive national championship (and 23rd all-time). The RedHawks posted a score of 107.16, finishing seven points clear of the closest competitors, and placed first for the third competition in a row. The next night, Miami's senior team capped a successful trip to Colorado for the Red and White by claiming a silver medal with season-high scores in both the short program and free skate.
