
Meet the 2025-26 Miami Hockey Team: David Deputy

OXFORD, Ohio— With the Miami Hockey season set to begin on Friday, Oct. 3 against Ferris State at Steve "Coach" Cady Arena, second-year head coach Anthony Noreen's program will have quite a few new faces in 2025-26.
David Deputy, a forward from Gurnee, Ill., will join the RedHawks this year. He spent last season in the USHL, first with the Omaha Lancers and then winning a Clark Cup with the Muskegon Lumberjacks.

PRIOR TO MIAMI
- Finished the 2024-25 season with Muskegon, collecting 41 points (14-27-41) in 38 games and adding 14 points in 14 playoff appearances
- Led all scorers in the USHL playoffs with 10 goals en route to lifting the Clark Cup
- Served as assistant captain for Omaha Lancers to begin 2024-25, where he put up 16 points (7-9-16) in 21 games
- Produced 35 points in 54 games for Omaha in 2023-24 (18-17-35)
- Spent 2022-23 campaign with NAHL's Philadelphia Rebels, putting up 53 points (23-30-53) in 60 games
- Named NAHL East Division Rookie of the Year in 2022-23 and selected to NAHL All-Rookie Team
- Attended Warren Township High School
