MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The Miami University softball team split a doubleheader versus Central Michigan on Saturday afternoon. Miami captured game one, 3-2, but dropped an 8-2 decision in the second contest. The loss ended Miami's win streak at 10 games and dropped the RedHawks to 22-16 overall and 12-1 in MAC play. • Oh recorded a one-out double in the bottom of the fifth and after Jenna Golembiewski was hit by a pitch, Chloe Parks singled down the left field line to plate Oh. Mckenna Campbell walked to load the bases and Erin Pinter doubled to right center to spot the RedHawks a 3-2 lead after five innings of play.
  • Madilyn Reeves did the rest to preserve the 3-2 victory. She allowed just four hits, while striking out three in seven innings of action.
