Atlason Signs With Miami Basketball

OXFORD, Ohio – Miami University head men's basketball coach Travis Steele announced the signing of Almar Atlason to his program for the 2025-26 season. Atlason joins the RedHawks after two years at Bradley University.

PRIOR TO MIAMI:

As a sophomore at Bradley, Atlason saw action in 36 games averaging 5.7 points, 2.0 rebounds and 0.9 assists
Played in all 35 games and recorded 4.6 points, 1.7 rebounds and 0.7 assists during his freshman year with Bradley
Scored a career-high 28 points against Belmont as a sophomore
Led the Braves in three-point field goal percentage (41%) as a freshman
Named to the 2023-24 All-MVC Freshman Team
Enrolled to Sunrise Christian Academy in Wichita, Kansas during the 2022-23 season
Participated in the Iceland Subway league for KR Reykjavik in 2021-22 where he averaged 4.2 points and 1.5 rebounds in 22 league games
Competed in the European Championships for Iceland as an 18-year-old, averaging 17.9 points, 10.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists through seven tournament games
