Miami Hockey Adds Gadzhiev to Signing Class

OXFORD, Ohio— Miami Hockey head coach Anthony Noreen announced that Shika Gadzhiev has signed with the RedHawks ahead of the 2025-26 season. Gadzhiev, a goaltender from Dagestan, Russia, currently plays for the USHL's Muskegon Lumberjacks.
"Shika has been one of the best goaltenders in the USHL the last two seasons," Noreen said. "He is big, athletic, highly competitive and beloved by his teammates.
"We are thrilled to welcome him to the Miami University hockey family."

- Owns a .912 save percentage and 2.63 GAA this season with Muskegon
- Won Slovakia U20 championship in 2022-23 with HC Slovan Bratislava
- Led Slovakia U20 league in both save percentage (.951) and GAA (1.40) in 2022-23
