Miami Men's Basketball bounced back from a loss at Eastern Michigan with a thrilling overtime triumph over Kent State Friday night in front of more than 6,000 fans and a national television audience. The RedHawks host Northern Illinois Tuesday at 7 p.m. looking to extend a 13-game home win streak, with the Kings Firecrackers Jump Rope Team also on hand for halftime entertainment at Millett Hall. MEN'S SWIM & DIVE CLAIMS FIFTH STRAIGHT LEAGUE TITLE
The Miami University men's swimming and diving team won the Missouri Valley Conference championship last week in Oxford, earning the program's fifth straight conference crown. Miami scored 820 points to top the seven-team field, beating runner-up Southern Illinois by 128.5 points. Head coach Samantha Pitter was named the conference's Coach of the Year, and Owen Hoban was awarded Freshman of the Year. Next up: Miami's women will compete in the MAC Championships beginning Wednesday in Buffalo, N.Y.

Miami Athletics' 10th annual Love.Honor.Care weekend raised more than $20,000 for cancer awareness and research … Miami Track and Field was in action at Findlay and Wittenberg to prep for this week's MAC Indoor Championships and saw Ella Rigel set a new program record in the weight throw; RedHawk senior Abby Suszek claimed MAC Female Track Athlete of the Week honors for the fourth consecutive week … Miami Softball played four games at the Rocket City Showcase in Madison, Ala., including three against SEC opponents, and defeated East Tennessee State 5-3 on Sunday; Kaylee Oh was recognized as MAC Player of the Week … Miami Baseball faced Charleston Southern once and East Tennessee State three times last week, earning one win over the Buccaneers Saturday … Miami Skating travels to the U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships in Colorado Springs, Colo. this week … Miami Tennis looks to pick up its first win of the spring Sunday with a trip to Dayton … Miami Hockey had 16 RedHawks recognized on the NCHC Academic All-Conference Team, with nine of those players also earning Distinguished Scholar-Athlete honors … Miami Men's Basketball checked in at No. 19 in the Mid-Major Top 25 Coaches Poll for the second straight week … Miami Golf took sixth place at the Border Olympics, led by Michael Weber's eighth-place individual showing; Weber was named the MAC Golfer of the Week for his efforts … Miami Football announced a non-conference matchup at Nebraska in 2027.

In partnership with Miami Concessions, Miami Athletics is excited to announce the Double Play Discount at home Miami baseball and softball games this season. Similar to the Miami Basketball Tailgate 'Til Tipoff, $3 beverages and $2 hot dogs will be available at Miami baseball and softball starting 30 minutes before game time and running through the first pitch of the second inning. Miami Baseball holds its home opener on Tuesday, February 25, and Miami Softball hosts its home opener on Friday, March 7.
