
Softball Announces 2026 Schedule

OXFORD, Ohio – Head coach Mandy Gardner-Colegate has announced Miami softball's 2026 schedule. The RedHawks will square-off with eight Power-4 teams and play a total of 16 home contests.
Miami opens the season with a trip out west to face Kentucky (Feb. 6), Minnesota (Feb. 6-7), San Diego State (Feb. 7) and Loyola Chicago (Feb. 8) in a tournament hosted by SDSU. The following week the RedHawks play four games in Memphis, Tenn., against Evansville (Feb. 13), Memphis (Feb. 13), Southern Indiana (Feb. 14) and UMKC (Feb. 15).
The RedHawks continue their road trip with a single game at Ole Miss (Feb. 16) and play in a three-day tournament at Campbell University from Feb. 20-22. Miami will face Radford (Feb. 20 & 21), Campbell (Feb. 20 & 21) and Iowa (Feb. 22). Prior to joining the RedHawks, Gardner-Colegate spent two years as the pitching coach with the Hawkeyes.
Miami concludes a majority of its non-conference schedule over the next two weeks, competing at tournaments hosted by Missouri and Eastern Kentucky. The RedHawks face Drake (Feb. 27 & 28), Missouri (Feb. 27 & 28) and Wichita State (Feb. 28). The following week Miami competes with Eastern Kentucky (March 5), IU Indy (March 6 & 7), Northern Kentucky (March 6) and Delaware State (March 7). The RedHawks will also play at NKU (March 17) and Marshall (March 24) and host Kentucky (March 31) and Dayton (April 28) in non-conference play.
Mid-American Conference play begins March 13-14 in a three-game series versus Western Michigan. The RedHawks also host Kent State (March 27-28), Ohio (April 7-8), Ball State (April 17-18) and Bowling Green (May 1-2) in conference action.
Road conference contests include trips to Akron (March 20-21), Buffalo (April 3-4), Toledo (April 11-12) and Central Michigan (April 24-25).
